Lucy finds the most inspiration for life from works of Asian American writers and American pop music. She also firmly believes that the TV series Fleabag and Shrinking can alleviate most of life’s troubling weight. Passionate about both literature and psychology, she has participated in the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio and the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshop. Her writing often explores identity, trauma, existential crisis, and human consciousness. Her short story You was published in The Interlochen Review, her poetry has appeared in The Crashtest Review, and her personal essay received the CWA Gold Award.
